    "My wife, 5 year child and I spent three nights in an upper suite. It was my birthday weekend and we were pleasantly surprised to find on arrival cold champagne in an ice bucket and chocolates on the bed. The suite was great, with a super comfortable king size bed and huge tub, and we shared a large balcony that offered us a view of some stunning scenery and mountain views. We asked for a baby sitter ...Julia from the Spa was on time and absolutely wonderful with our child. He loved the experience. In fact every staff member we engaged with was so friendly, helpful and timely with any requests. Btw....food was amazing. I recommend the Thai green chicken curry or hake and chips. I would absolutely return, and I will definitely recommend it to my family and friends."

    "Honestly I cannot fault this hotel on anything. Everything from the customer service, the food and the accommodation ticked all the boxes. I'm definitely going back to Mont d'Or. A special mention to Miriam in the restaurant for being such a warm and diligent person, Tengo for his outstanding service, the receptionists' friendliness and the hotel manager's visibility. It's clear that hospitality is something that is ingrained in the culture. Keep up the great work."

    "Stayed in the townhouse on the property. 3 bedrooms, loads of space. Thank goodness for aircons and electric blankets in rooms as Clarens is cold in winter! Great hotel breakfast included. Staff friendly and welcome. Enjoyed a few Spa treatments. Have stayed in a few properties in Clarens. This will definitely be first choice next time."
