  "Coles Corner is a lovely overnight stop. The owner, Betsy is incredibly hospitable and goes out of her way to have homemade rusks in your room as well as all the little "nick nacks" one requires when not staying at home. She even had cotton wool and earbuds in the bathroom. The rooms are spotless with DSTV. We ordered pizza's from JC's and they were delivered to Cole Corner - very nice. I can recommend this place to anyone who want to stay over in Colesberg."

  "I loved this place! I will in the future use this place over and over again and will recommend this on all kinds of social media. We were welcomed with a chalkboard with our name on and a wonderful lady who is so friendly and welcoming and loves to have communicate with you - making it feel like home! We instantly felt welcome and had a lovely evening while travelling back to cape town. It was perfect and clean, all necessary items are given even a showercap hanging in the bathroom... milk.. coffee.. tea .. milk powder and lovely rusks are given to you in your room. Safe parking for your car as well which always helps in today's time. Earbuds and cotton pads are also given on your bathroom sink if you may need to take your make off etc. A hairdryer is provided and a chocolate on arrival. Nothing about this place is negative."

  "We will definitely be sure to stay at this lovely quiet little spot just on the outskirts as you enter the town. Our family unit was spotless and beautifully decorated. The additional aircon heater as well as the wall heater were an added luxury on the unusually cold below zero nights we experienced on our travels. Wonderful hospitality. Our work schedule meant we had to cancel our booking on the morning we were due to arrive and re-book for another night which we weren't penalised for with our booking fee. We arrived over an hour before our check-in time and the unit was ready. And those lovely homemade rusks...and added bonus! Definitely recommend"

We were in room 2, with twin beds and a double bunk bed. We were thrilled to find rusks and a choc'ie in the room. The guest house is a 5-min walk from the OK Grocer and bottle store, which we enjoyed to stretch our legs after the long drive."

  "We had the queen bedroom at the end of the accommodation, nearest to the road - This made no difference to our quality of sleep. The location was a little further outside of Colesberg centre, which made for a nice change and everything was only a minute or less drive away. Betsy was wonderful and gave us a very warm welcome. The interior decor, architecture and gardens were tuned to perfection. We felt very spoiled. Her rusks were a lovely touch to our complimentary morning coffee. We've visited Colesberg in the past and wanted to know of a few different places to eat out other than the Plattelander and Bordeaux. Betsy recommended JCs which was fantastic. JCs Pizza and Steak fillet were perfectly cooked and the vibe was a local one. All in all very satisfied."
