  "Second time we have stayed at Crane Cottage! Different room and it was again spacious and clean. Beds comfortable. Bedding and towels good quality. Bathroom had large shower and enough warm water. Loved the kittle kitchenette. Safe parking. Within walking distance of eating establishment. Will definitely try to stay here again!"

  "Please make cake soap available. Not everyone likes to use liquid soap and it's hard to use in the shower. Apart from that Crane Cottage was a restful stopover on the long drive to Cape Town, clean and comfortable. My husband enjoyed the decent sized TV. We will use it again"

  "Staff friendly and helpful the whole place needs a serious clean.All glasses pots etc where sticky their was smoke or fire smell throughout. Cupboard were smelly Shower tiles and floors not clean whole unit needed serious wash and dust."

  "Always feel comfortable at Crane Cottage. Nice and clean, also very secure in these times. Close to Platelanda restaurant. A shelf in the bathroom for toiletries would be good. Otherwise I enjoy the stopover there."

  "We have stayed in Colesburg lots of times and this time we decided to stay at Crane Cottage. What a wonderful surprise. We stayed in a house with 3 bedrooms. It was very clean and very comfortable, had everything we needed. Very safe plus secure parking. Within walking distance of the restaurants. We also had breakfast the next morning which was delicious. Arista is charming. Will definitely stay there again."

  "The accommodation and host were amazing, we had booked for 4 in a non self catering room, however were called by the host who informed that the TV in our room was broken and as such would we be happy to be moved to a self catering unit which was perfect for our family of 4. The unit was clean and very spacious. The stay was pleasant and will definitely stay there again."

  "Arrived after a long drive to a friendly set up in a nice part of town. Felt very safe and welcoming. Rooms were nicely done with all the needed extras.... Except when we tried to run a bath for our 4 year old there was next to no hot water (Cold ran fine) Thought maybe the geyser would need some time to warm up during the night, got up for an early start, but in the morning, there was not a drop of hot water. (Kettle water in the sink to wash). If there was a switch or a special way to switch on the Geyser (I did look around) it would have been nice to have been told about it. Other than that a very pleasant over night stay."

The establishment advertises as having DSTV in every room; there was not even a TV in our apartment. pluses - The apartment was comfortable,clean,nice shower and the beds very comfortable. I still enjoyed the stopover."

  "We had a lovely time staying there. Would only prefer the breakfast to be earlier. Nearly every body left as six the following morning and even earlier. Arista changed rooms so that we can have a room with a bath because it is easier to bath a baby of 13 months. We did not even have to ask. I would recommend the place to anybody and will definitly stay there again."

  "We enjoyed staying at Crane cottage for one night on the way back to Cape Town tremendously. We were very warmly welcomed by the hostess and treated as friends who came to visit. The cottage is lovely, clean and very secure. Even though we left early the next morning breakfast awaited us. I would really encourage other travellers to choose Crane Cottage as an overnight stop."
