Guinea-fowl Guest House

If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable and affordable spot to overnight in Colesberg, Guinea-fowl Guest House is just what you are looking for. Although it lies in a cul-de-sac, there are wide open areas in the garden where you can sit and relax after a long days drive. The guest house is surrounded by a fairytale garden and granite rocks, away from all the hustle and bustle.

Accommodation is offered in four spacious bedrooms, all of which have private entrances and are en suite. Two are the rooms are four-sleepers, and the other two rooms are three-sleepers. Room facilities include tea and coffee-making facilities, a bar fridge, heater, electric blanket, and a ceiling fan. Secure off-street parking is provided in front of each room.

Guests are welcome to watch TV in the TV lounge of the guest house. There is an open braai area in the garden, or another covered braai area, that can be used by guests. English and continental breakfast is served daily on request in the dining room. There are also several restaurants in town, which is only a short stroll away.

"Very pleasant to be greeted and relax with a pot of tea after a long day of travel. Our room, while a little old fashioned, was comfortable and without the traffic noise of many Colesberg places. Breakfast was good value. A restaurant just a short stroll away made this a good place to stay. We will book again next time we travel the route"
