  "We were received by a very friendly gentleman who showed us to our room and also mentioned where we could get a quick dinner! Inni Kraal turned out to be great as well. The room at Nanna Rous was clean and spacious. My only comment is that the towels were terrible, I would really suggest in investing in a few new towels."

  "We were relocating from Durban and this place proved a great half way stop between Durban and Cape Town albeit in a bit of a run down town that looked abit dodgy but turned out perfectly safe. The owners were very friendly and even accomendated our two cats that were traveling with us. Rooms were neat and tidy and very comfortable with full Dstv. Would definitely recommend."

  "The Chapel room was dark and airless. I was overcharged by R300 per person. I don't mind paying R1500 for a room if it is worth it and there are good facilities, but when it is a miserable dingy place then I am not happy. No window and no extractor in the bathroom. Only 1 little window opens.so there is no air circulation. 2 fans helped give some relief.The ceiling fan has no switch. Bed linen looked old and grey. If I had paid R700 for the room then I would have accepted the room but definitely not worth R1500. No manager on duty."

There was ample coffee and tea and they had the DSTV compact which I feel makes a huge difference when after a day of travelling you just want to chill and watch TV. The bathroom was kitted out with soap and hand cream.<div><br /></div><div>The breakfast was tasty and the service was excellent.</div><div><br /></div><div>There was adequate parking which was behind a secure gate which made us feel more comfortable.</div></div>"

We where placed in a room with one single bed and was expected tosleep 4 adults there.   "Everything was so nice and clean and the breakfast was really tasty. The only thing I was deeply and utterly dissatisfied with was the useless little wall in the driveway. My wife drove up the driveway when I opened the gate for her and she saw the grass next to her and turned not seeing that stupid little wall and well now we have a lot damage on our vehicle."

  "We had a great stay at Nanna Rous. Rosy and Kennith was very friendly and welcoming, just what you want after a long drive. Our room was big, clean, warm and cosy in a very cold Colesberg! They were very accommodating with our dog too. We had a delicious meal at Bordeaux Restaurant in town. The next morning Kennith quickly helped us get someone to fix our punctured tyre whilst we had a delicious English breakfast that Rosy (a superstar) made. A special thanks to Rosy who did our booking, took my phone calls, emails, checked us in and made breakfast! You are wonderful! We will definitely recommend you to all our friends and make use of you in the future!"

Its location near the centre of town made it easy to explore the streets and historical buildings in the vicinity. Despite a full complement of guests, we had a quiet restful night."
