Lavender Rose Guesthouse

The Lavender Rose Guesthouse offers three self-catering apartment units. It is located in the tranquil Costa Sarda area of Knysna, otherwise known as The Hidden Jewel of Knysna. The units overlook the Knysna Lagoon and are the ideal accommodation option for families and couples.

The units are all equipped for self-catering with fully equipped kitchens and open-plan living areas. Each unit accommodates either five or two people and are equipped with DStv and ceiling fans or air-conditioning. Guests can use a Weber braai for that Saturday afternoon braai, and the property has secure parking with remote-controlled entrance.

Located approximately 100 m away is the public walkway and a cycle track which runs alongside the lagoon. This walkway stretches between the popular Knysna Waterfront and the main road to The Heads and provides a very pleasant scenic walk for those so inclined.

"HI Enjoyed my stay at Lavender Rose, Firstly we arrived very late and the owner did not complain for staying so late waiting for us. Secondly there were branching that were on our pathway going to the room we told him on arrival and the following morning they were cut off. everything was on par. Would use the venue for my next trip."

"We stayed at the guesthouse for 3 nights and unfortunately the standard wasn't as we expected. The apartment looked nice, the bed was comfortable but it wasn't very clean. Everything in the kitchen was sticky and when we woke up the following morning our food was covered in ants so we had to bin it. I don't think it was the first time as there was an ant repellant on a shelf. The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly either, I found someone else's hair in the shower and on the floor. Nobody came over to check on us for the duration of our stay although the owners live under the same roof. In the morning we were leaving the owner didn't even come to us to say goodbye. He only shouted from his balcony to lock the door.<br/>I am a host myself and have travelled a lot. Little things like clean apartment as well as friendly and attentive staff matter."
