  • "Having a lively braai in their beautiful garden"

"Everything was good but the noise of the trucks all night long was awful!"

  • "Nice and quiet, very comfortable room."

    18 April 2019

"We had a lovely 2 night stay here, while visiting the Mountain Zebra Park during the day.Comfortable clean room, good breakfast. Large bathroom. The only comment we can make: A brighter light in the bathroom would be nice as it is a bit dark with the one light."

  • "Quality doesn't meet price"

    06 November 2017

"The accommodation was not worth the price"

  • "delightful guesthouse"

    27 June 2016

"This is an excellent b and b in a town that maybe has seen better days, but will hopefully do so again. It's not Graaff-Reinet, but it is historic and interesting. But the best place in town is the large garden of Albert House. A delightful location. Charles the proprietor is an affable host and facilities are excellent. Strongly recommended.<div>Andy Hamilton, Durham, England (formerly EU).</div>"

  • "Lovely house to look at"

    04 January 2016

"<p>It is a great house and the hospitality of the owners was very good. It is just unfortunate that the accommodationoffered is not In the house, but rather at he granny flats at the back. It would be great if theaccommodation could be in the housewhereone can feel the spirit and the history of the caroo better. Well for that reason probably one can choose other facilities in Cradock. </p><p>Nothing specialat the granny flatroomsexcept a bit of renovation required and installation ofan aircon is a must especially for the in summer season, but all together good experience for one stop over. </p>"

  • "An unexpected gem"

    14 September 2015

"The hosts are very friendly. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. The proximity to the Mountain Zebra Park is an added bonus- it deserves its award as the top SAN Park. Would also reccomend Mila's restaurant for great food and unexpected ambience- we didn't expect jazz in Cradock! Disappointed to have missed the Olive Schriener Museum as it is only open in the week."

  • "Nice stay, nice hosts"

    23 March 2015

"Warm welcome, clean facilities, very good breakfast, nice hosts to discuss history with. The only thing that bothered us was the creaky door to the bathroom - it was impossible to go there without waking everybody up.<br />"

  • "Beautiful Garden"

    28 June 2014

"We stayed overnight and received a warm welcome from the owner and sat in the sunshine in the garden. The breakfast was good.Unfortunately our visit in June meant that the evening and night was cold. Our room did not get much sunshine and was therefore very cold, despite Albert House having an electric panel heater on the wall, which was already switched on when we arrived, but it was not powerful enough to warm the room, which has a high ceiling. There was no heating at all in the bathroom. The electric blanket was very welcome and used."

  • "Welcome oasis"

    28 February 2010

"After a long drive it was a welcome oasis . Perhaps next time one would stay longer to visit the historical sites in and around town"

  • "Cradock revisited"

    22 November 2009

"Great hospitality; house is old fashioned (and there's nothing wrong with that); Wi-Fi is a plus; close to the centre in a quiet neighbourhood."

  • "Friendly people, Historical house"
