Welcome to Africa Whispers Country House. We are a home away from home on a three-acre horse estate in the country. The country house is located on the border of the Valley of a 1000 Hills overlooking the Inanda Dam in Crestholme, KwaZulu-Natal. You can enjoy a refreshing walk on horseback across the plains of an abandoned farm or just take in the wonders of being out in the country. The country house is located in the country but is close enough to a mall (5 kms) to purchase all your essentials as well as enjoy the various restaurants and family activities. Upon request meal can be provided on the weekends. Africa Whispers is pet friendly and is ideal for a stop over for those traveling, business travellers, wedding guests attending a wedding at Crinkley Bottom Park or Du Boirs, or for those wanting some rest and relaxation out in the country.

"My family and I were extremely happy with our stay at Africa Whispers Country House. A very tranquil and peaceful atmosphere prevailed at the house. All amenities were in perfect condition and the house.The hostess Sheena is an absolute star.She was kind enough to receive us with a warm welcome despite us being very late,She also followed up with a courtesy sms, to see whether we were all ok when my children arrived a day later. A memorable comfortable and delightful stay. We definitely will be thinking about going back. Cheers!"

"Africa Whispers has a wonderful location in the country, and is close enough to all amenities. Our family unit more than met our expectations, with oven/stove/microwave, large fridge, braai, DSTV, large bathroom and plenty of space both indoors and out. The hospitality and assistance from hosts Tony and Sheena is fantastic, as is the welcome from their dogs, which add to the security and warmth. For those looking for self-catering close to Hillcrest (20min), this should be one of your first choices."

"The setting is beautiful and peaceful. The cottage is tastefully done with everything you might need, and was cleaned daily. The hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We so enjoyed our stay. Thank you."
