"A lovely place to stay in Darling, attention to detail in and outside the room, helpful hosts that are present when you need them; wi-fi could be improved, but it seems the norm in Darling..just talk to your neighbours!"
"We loved the warm beds and fires on a very cold weekend with snow on the Cederberg"
"Our stay at the Darling Lodge was a very pleasant experience! We really enjoyed Stephan's quiet, not intrusive but warm and friendly approach. There is an honesty bar as well as a decanter of port as a welcome drink or late at night. The breakfast was done to perfection. Our host also recommended and booked a restaurant for the evening in town and is knowledgeable about the surrounding areas."
"We loved everything about Darling Lodge. Stephan was particularly helpful and pleasant. The food was great and we loved the lounge for everyone to use and the honesty bar and and and"

"My wife and I enjoyed a few days in Darling and surroundings in early January 2014. Darling Lodge Guest House is an ideal location for exploring the exciting Darling area: great artists, delicious food and wines, and beautiful landscapes. Stephan and Oliver are the perfect hosts, knowledgeable and helpful. Don't forget to enjoy the amazing garden and the poolside of the guest house."
"This was our first night of our roundtrip. Stefan and Oliver are wonderful hosts and care about everything. My highlight was the delightful breakfast in the lovely garden."
"I have had many short get aways with my 3 sons. Darling Lodge is in a class of it's own and has set the bar high for any other break we have. It is definitely somewhere I would love to stay again. Perfect for a romantic weekend or for a family. Even a conference day could be held here comfortably. The accomodation was beautiful, equipped with all the little things you never think to pack or that you would need. The little touches are what make a place stand out from others. For me the hosts are what makes Darling Lodge stand out from the rest of the pack. They were so accomodating and helpful. From booking restaraunts, providing information on attractions to allowing my son to help in the kitchen. They could not have done more to make our stay special. Darling is a quiet sleepy town but there are many attractions close by. You can walk to most things in town. We visited the local museum, Buffelsfontein game far, Darling Olive farm. You can visit beaches such as Yzerfontein and there is a KoiSan village. A definite stop for any type of traveller."
