Situated on a peaceful small holding in De Aar, Emthanjeni means "the vein" and refers to underground water. Escape from city noise and experience a calm atmosphere with personal attention on a Karoo landscape that was converted into a small oasis. Breathe clean air and admire the Milky Way at night and in summer, relax at the pool and barbecue area within the spacious garden.

We offer 18 well-equipped rooms each with a private entrance, separate from the house, ensuring total privacy. Accommodation comprises double rooms as well as self-catering units, and features include tea and coffee-making facilities, cutlery and crockery, linen and towels, fridges, TV with local channels, air-conditioning, electric blankets, and daily room service.

Breakfast is served in the large dining area, which can also be used as a conference venue, and lunches and home-cooked dinners can be arranged upon request. Safe undercover parking is also provided for guests' convenience.

"All was clean, but instead of toilet spray, they used someones hairspray that stunk, we didn't have any hot water to shower, they said the geyser tripped at the box and didn't really care. in the future we will contact them personally as Safarinow is so expensive, we paid R160 extra than what we should have!! almost a four star price for a 2 star lodge. alcohol bottles was standing outside some rooms, not a good impression for an overnight stay. Establishment's response In the first place we want to apologize for the problem that you had experience with the warm water in your unit, we were fully booked that evening and we did not have any complains from the other guests regarding this matter in the block were your unit also was. We were not aware of the fact that your roomâ€™s greaser had tripped in the main box, all the main boxes are checked every day to make certain all is in order and at the time the inspection was done there were no problems in the rooms. We first were advice of this problem the next morning when you phoned us to advice us that there were no warm water in your room, our maintenance manager immediately went out to have a look at this problem and the problem where handled in the right way he also advice you that he did attend to the matter and apologize for the inconvenience he told you that there will be warm water within the next half an hour. Regarding the spray bottles that we use in our rooms had air freshener in and not hairspray, we bay our air freshener from our supplier in big quantities and then we put it in the spray bottles, the once we are using now is a cherry blossom. The last matter regarding the alcohol bottles that were standing outside at some of the barbeque areas can be due to the fact that some of the guest had a barbeque the evening before you booked in and we normally clean the areas each day. We will attend to this matter and make curtain that this will not happen again. Thank you very much to bring this matter to our attention.
