  • "De Waterkant House"

    21 September 2008

"As was anticipated from a shorter visit last year [2007] this year was exceptional overall again thanks to the attention of the staff, particularly Sarie and the standard of accomodation. It is my intention to visit again next year."

  • "Very good"

    23 September 2007

"The reception was good, all was ready for us, even though we booked in a day early. Breakfast was good and the laundry service was excellent."

  • "Lovely atmosphere"

    06 July 2007

"The establishment was great I would definitely recommend it.Very friendly helpful staff.A lovely atmosphere to relax in."

  • "Great Location"

    03 May 2007

"De Waterkant is ideally placed to give you a feel for the real side of Cape Town and yet is only 10 mins walk from the V&A. If you dont want to walk back to the V&A at night there is a great range of restaurants nearby. If you have hired a car you are also ideally placed to head out to the Coast or Stellenbosch. The rooms and facilities are also very good and we loved the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere."

  • "Very nice"

"We were overall very satisfied with our stay. The house is beautiful, the location is great and staff friendly and helpful. The negative thing was that sounds from the street could be disturbing at night time."
