"It was an absolute pleasure staying here. Close to everything, very neat and warm and friendly hosts."
"Nice little place in the Waterkant village. Great location. Nice room tidy and spicy. Nice staff."
"We liked the B&B very much. Proper, friendly and central. But nothing for disabled people as it is a hilly street and no elevator to the breakfast room. A and S, soon 70.<div><br /></div><div><br /><div><br /></div></div>"
"Something with a difference. To be recommended. Extremely friendly reception by Delica."
"Very comfortable and cosy, ddespite the onset of the Cape winter coinciding with our visit. Staff were welcoming. Unfortunately, our sleep was seriously disturbed on Friday and Saturday night/early morning by thumping music from a neighboring club or house. While the B&B cannot of course be held responsible for this, it is apparently not unusual and guests in rooms 9 and 10 should perhaps be warned about the possibility. The breakfasts could be improved by adding wholewheat bread and perhaps fruit salad to expand the continental breakfast .range."
"Room was small but comfortable. Loved the style of the bathroom. Very nice breakfast bar that wasn't the same each day (stayed there for four nights?. The only negative is that there is no adjacent parking. There is a multi-level carpark a 5-minute walk away in the Cape Quarter shopping centre. However, after checking out, I had help in carting my luggage to my hire car parked there - very much appreciated."
"The service at the lodge was absolutely outstanding. The lodge is clean and well set up and has all basic requirements one might need. A superb place to live at."
"My three nights at De Waterkant Place were enjoyable and very comfortable. Guests do not generally take breakfast together and there was not much interaction with other visitors, but Karla is a charming and gracious hostess. The environment is ver up-market, and secure and the views from the roof (harbour, mountains) are stunning at both sunset and sunrise."
