Situated in George, Bergsig B&B is the ideal place to stay since we do not have load shedding due to our solar panel system to keep the lights and electricity on.
Our location is ideal for a breakaway weekend, holiday or when you are on business in the Garden Route. We are walking distance from shops and a cofffee shop. The CBD, airport, restaurants and the Garden Route Mall is close by and we are about 8 km from the closes beach. We are about 50 km from Mosselbay, Knysna and Oudtshoorn.
The guest house is a separate building from the main house with a private entrance and safe parking. In our rooms with it's crisp & clean linen and towels, we have double or single beds with an en-suite bath/shower , TV with e-open view package and coffee/tea facilities. There is also a private sun deck with panoramic views of the Outeniqua Mountains.
The rooms can be rented out individually, with or without breakfast, for single or double occupancy. The guest house can also be rented as a self-catering family unit with a fully equipped kitchen/lounge area on the ground floor, sleeping up to 8 persons. Three bedrooms are upstairs and a fourth bedroom on ground floor with private entrance. The self-catering unit must be taken with a minimum of two rooms. Special rates apply to the self-catering unit depending on the number of rooms occupied.

18 December 2009"The Bergsig B&B was the perfect kind of self-catering accommodation. All the rooms (we booked out all 4) were welcoming and neat and the en suite bathrooms in 3 of them (the one room didn't have an en suite) were great. We were left on our own, so that we could come and go as we pleased. We were also provided with two secure parking bays. We had all the amenities we needed. We even had chocolates on our beds (not necessary but a nice touch). Lastly, the accommodation was very affordable. Only one drawback: The bottom floor room smelled a bit musty. Overall, we were extremely happy. Thank you to Loraine."
