The Bay Accommodation

The Bay Accommodation is located in the beautiful coastal town of Strand and offers guests a choice of staying in one of two units. Breakfast is available on request at an additional cost and the units will be cleaned every second day. A laundry service can also be arranged at an additional cost.

The Ground Floor Unit consists of one bedroom that is furnished with one double bed and the First Floor Unit has two bedrooms furnished with either a double bed or two single beds. Each unit has a private bathroom and an open-plan kitchen equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, mini griller, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. Guests will be provided with tea, coffee, sugar, milk, scones or muffins on arrival. The lounge areas are comfortably furnished and equipped with a TV with full DStv and a DVD player, and both units have braai facilities. Please note that smoking and alcohol are not allowed and guests visitors are requested to leave the premises by 23:00 the same day.

There is an indoor swimming pool located just 2 km away and Strand offers 5 km of white sand and offers one of the safest swimming beaches in the country, making it ideal for water sports. The promenade offers a few coffee shops, cafs and restaurants, as well as a large entertainment area with putt-putt, a water slide and a heated Olympic-size swimming pool and tidal pool which should keep most of the family amused. Old and young will also enjoy a visit to the Strand Waterworld and golfers can savour the Strand Golf Course.

"I stayed at The Bay Accomodation over the festive period and was really impressed with the service provided by our host Althea Jansen and her husband.
