"Fantastic lodge, and perfect for a family getaway. The separate cottages allow for privacy, and the fact that you book the whole lodge is great. The sparkling pool was a huge highlight for the kids, and the green lawns made for excellent play-space. The lapa is well designed and has everything you need. The outside boma was a highlight, and lots of firewood was easily obtainable. Moses and Donald were simply fantastic staff who supplied everything we need swiftly, professionally and with kindness. The cottages are not luxurious, but clean and comfortable with everything you need. We will definitely be back - the Stolp family loves Dinonyane!"

"Game watching from the Lodge was excellent. Moses really helpful. Difficulty getting hold of owner to open the gate.Rooms need attention with paint and new bedding. Lodge overall very clean and neat. Will definitely go again."

"Dinokeng is a wonderful reserve close to Pretoria - but, the pictures in the advert were not a true reflection of the lodge - table and chairs rickety, "concrete couches very hard, cushions very thin - pool small - kitchen "rustic" - fridge way too small to accomodate all guests food needs - units are very basic and a bit disjointed. TV not working. Owner kept on harrassing us for proof of payment of the final payment, which we had sent thru' on a phone number he had emailed to me but didnt check it. this all over Christmas? not again thank you! please note tho' the staff were friendly and obliging. the animal sightings from the boma was spectacular and the bird life wonderful.We stayed at Phumba Lodge last year for the same price and same time much better value for money. We as a family love Dinokeng but will be a lot more cautious in future when booking out a lodge. we were a family of 11 ranging from 20 - 70 years."

"Dinonyane Bush Lodge is the perfect location for a family or group getaway. Only an 1-2 hours drive from JHB.Comfortable rooms, with enough space for 5 couples. Plus extra beds for kids. Wonderful Boma area with seating, braai as well as fire area. And for those that need it... a TV. The only downfall of this lovely Lodge is the reserve it is in. If you want to see game, one needs to pay for a game drive at a neighbouring reserve. There apparently is a self drive road, which we could not find, or get hold of anyone to assist us in doing so.Highly recommend a visit! But be prepared to pay R175 - R200 for a game drive"
