Sunset View Overnight Rooms and Camping

Regardless of the name itself that describes the beauty of this oasis, Sunset View Overnight Rooms and Camping is situated on the banks of the Vaal River just outside of Douglas on the R357 to Prieska. Here you will find peaceful, secure surroundings in the quiet of nature. Sunset View River Guesthouse is surrounded by big gum trees and has a lush garden with a playground for children, sitting spots for the tired businessman and the area is an absolute playground for the fisherman.Accommodation consists of a luxurious guesthouse with four individually decorated en-suite rooms and Camp Sites between 20 and 30 m from the river. Each air-conditioned room has a private entrance and is furnished with double or twin beds and is equipped with a TV with DStv, a hairdryer and a mini fridge as well as coffee making facilities and clean towels and linen is provided. Each room have a microwave and cutlery for 2 people for self-catering . Braai facilities are available on the balcony or near the river.The Campsites are shaded from the early morning sun and is located within 50 m of the ladies and gents ablution facilities. Electricity points are available as well as braaiers for those that dont have enough space to pack.There is a grassy fishing spot on the river and Sunset View supports catch and release and would appreciate it if all our guests would honour this. .
