    10 December 2014

"Fantastic location, great view, but the chalet could have been in a better condition. You guys really have something, pity really. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay."

  • "Mixed"

    09 December 2014

"Basic and adequate. Bedding, towels, floor mat looking old and tired; clean but not so fresh. The outside is also quite neglected but conveniently close to a very nice hiking trail in the Steenkampberg."

  • "Uiters swak"

    27 October 2014

"Geen gloeilampe in woonkamer, geen toilet papier, yskas vuil, gordyne swak gehang, tuin verwaarloos, buitekant van gebou verwaarloos - kort verf. Orals braaiplekke buite waarvan die as nie opgetel is nie. Kan vir die prys baie beter doen in Dullstroom. Sal nie aanbeveel nie."

  • "Very little, but very friendly"

    08 September 2014

"My boyfriend and I stayed one night on the camping grounds. We were slightly under impressed when we arrived about the ablution block being completely unusable and the braai areas, lights and power points were in a state of disrepair, nevertheless, the manager was extremely helpful and friendly and the reserve has beautiful hiking trails. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone."

  • "Our Stay at Dullstroom Nature reserve."

    22 April 2014

"Upon arrival at our cttafe the TV and decoder did not work. After driving to the caretaker and he swapped the units and the decoder smartcard was suspended. Our door could not lock from the inside so we had to push the broken couch in the dining area infront of the door.Could be such a nice cottage with a lot of TLC. Don`t think we will be back"

    31 March 2014

"Our Stay was fine the view was great but the house we stayed in was not very clean Lots of spiderwebs everywhere and very dusty. The television was also not working, if they just clean the place for people that they know are coming in it would make the place so much better."

  • "Terrible"

    10 February 2014

"This was NOT a good experience at all. They didn't know which chalet was ours. First it was number 1 then 2 and at the end number 3. The kitchen lights were out of order. We had to make plans with the bedroom light to cook. The fridge was not working but the freezer did. The linen was definitely not changed from the previous guests. The only water that came out of the shower was hot water. The crockery was in a terrible condition. 3 plates 1 wine glass. And everything did not match. The cutlery was 3 or 4 and each one looked different. I could not use their kitchen towel for the dishes because it was dirty and stinking. luckily we had only booked for one night!!!! this is a disaster. I cannot imagine that people would think this is ok."

  • "Just fine"

  • "Awesome place!"

    25 September 2013

"Bongani was very friendly and helpful on our arrival, he assisted us with a friendly smile all the way. We will go back and spend more time there."

  • "Vaue for money"

    23 September 2013

"Stay was pretty cool...accommodation is pretty safe and cool. Few things can still be improved like curtains, bathroom accessories needs to be added."

  • "Unpretentious"

    10 June 2013

"This resort needs just a little TLC to make it a winner. Still good value. Worth a visit. Just breathe and unwind."

  • "Dullstroom Nature Reserve"

    28 May 2013

"The place is very neglected. Lots of electricity points in the backpackers unit. Fridge and toaster, but no kettle. Linen were clean. Four beds in unit, but one bed was broken and could therefore not have been used. The security guard at the gate were extremely helpful and friendly. Will visit again, but will be better prepared in terms of what to bring along."

  • "Poor ablutions"

    22 April 2013

"Bongani at the gate was great and even kept it open for us later because we were at a wedding, but the ablutions were terrible. They need a serious make over. Smelly, dirty, mouldy, just terrible."

  • "Not great"

    02 April 2013

"Campsite is beautiful..just a pitty the ablution facilities are in terrible condition, showers barely work, floors are wet, think the toilet is leaking... Will think twice before going back again,no fish to even talk about."

  • "Ideal little stay"

    18 February 2013

"Dullstroom Nature Reserve offered us the ideal accommodation for a wedding weekend. We were close enough to town (1km away) if needed, but also far enough away to experience nature. The gate personnel knew exactly who we were and were very friendly and helpful."

  • "Good"

    21 January 2013

    "We enjoyed our stay."

  • "Nice stay"

    28 December 2012

"The staff are very plesant and make you welcome. The chalets are very nice and comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed our stay, due to the chalets, however we found that there was not much to do, activity wise, but did enjoy the silence and quietness of the area. Did not see any wildlife."

  • "Should have stayed home!"

    08 October 2012

"The bed in the main bedroom was springs covered in a sheet. there is no way anyone could sleep on it. if the couch had been just a plank of wood it would have been more comfortable. luckily it was just me. I plan on going back to Dullstroom but would not even consider this place! I left after the first night."

  • "Great potential"

    26 June 2012

"This reserve has the biggest potential to be the top spot in Dullstroom - unfortunately the maintanance is not up to standard. Everything works but one could see that there are maybe not suffiecient funds to maintain the ablution blocks and the chalets. Security was also a bit of a worry - nobody at the gate when returned from dinner in Dullstroom."

  • "Camping at the dam"

    28 May 2012

"Very scenic with great open space to camp or have a function. Loved the fact that I could roll out my tent and cast out a fly. It is very cold and plenty of wood, goose-down sleeping bags and thermal wear is the order of Winter camping but the chalets are there for a more comfortaale stay. Staff and security are exceptionally friendly, accomadating and helpful. I will be back again."

  • "Quiet, spacious and clean"

    03 May 2012

"We really enjoyed our stay there. It was quiet, spacious, clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating."

  • "Good"

    02 May 2012

"The facilities were good and the place was quiet. Unfortunately the camp sites are very close to the chalets."
