"The quiet environment and wonderful hospitality made the trip worth every penny"
"Really great well priced place to relax for a few days. Spent the Winter evenings around a cosy fire. Took our dogs and they had a wonderful time there."
"What a lovely experience, Paul and Tiffany were so welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the horses were just an absolute bonus. Will definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to get away within a few hours of jhb. And will definitely be back!"
"We had a thoroughly restful weekend here. Wonderful horses roaming freely added a certain farmstyle feel. Tiffany and Paul were both amazing hosts, will definitley be returning. We were upgraded to a family cottage and loved every minute of it. Free bundles of wood, room service everyday. No TV which I loved!! The google maps location is perfect. Takes you into the yard. A couple of alert dogs but friendly when approach and patted. The house had all the utensils and equipment we needed. The bed is a bit hard though :("
"We stayed at The Barn for the long weekend. We absolutely loved it. The house is a real farmhouse and is so nicely decorated and very well equipped. While the house is a bit old, it make sup for it in character. The view is unbelievable and having the fire pit just made the evenings so enjoyable. The horses were an amazing experience - having them roaming around and visiting us daily was a highlight. The beautiful walks we were able to do we stunning and fishing in the dam was so peaceful - we are already trying to find time to visit again. Go Country is a highlight for me in terms of places I have stayed. Paul 7 Tiffany were incredible hosts"
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could stay longer... Beautiful trees, a lovely home, friendly hosts, 4 very friendly and well mannered dogs, as well as about 10 tame horses, made our stay so special. Remember to take enough apples and carrots for them :) I showed our photo's to my sister and she replied that it look like something from a movie!"
"Cutlery and facilities in the building can be improved, no sharp knives, oven not working properly. However such a lovely place, really beautiful and will recommend the barn"
"Lovely well kept unit. Nice touches like blankets outside and candles all around. Stocked with firewood .Will definitely be visiting again. Really lovely!! And the view!! Breathtaking."
"We so enjoyed our stay at Go Country. Homely, friendly, quiet & relaxing. We'll be back!"
"Liked: privacy of Shona's place - excellent!Improvements: general maintenance."
"Go Country is a beautiful establishment and the owners, Paul and Tiffany were so friendly and accommodating. We were upgraded to a bigger house and we had the best first year anniversary ever. The accommodation were lovely, clean and comfortable with heaters and a fireplace. It is also lovely if you want to take your pets with. I strongly recommend Go Country when you need a breakaway to revive your soul!"
"We had a fantastic stay in the Barn, the large open plan dining area and the lawn with the fire place was great. Thanks to Paul and Tiffany for creating a wonderful weekend.<div><br /></div><div>Regards Gerrit</div>"

"We recently spent two nights at Go Country, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One of the biggest drawcards of the venue, for us, is that they offer both trout fishing as well as horse riding right on the premises. Another is that we were allowed to bring our doggie along; he had the most marvellous time playing with the farm dogs on the property. The lovely owners were very kind to us, and special touches like rose petals in the bathtub and lavender on the pillows were greatly appreciated. Beautiful surroundings, well away from the main road, provide a calming and relaxing vibe. The chalet was well kitted out, providing all that we needed. We hope to return soon, and highly recommend Go Country!"
"Lovely accommodation, stunning views, very friendly host, just the right distance from the town"
"Lovely self-catering cottages on a beautiful property. Pet friendly. Really enjoyed our break away and would definitely go back! :)"
"Really enjoyed our overnight stay at Go Country, just sorry we did not have time to enjoy the cottage and beautiful surroundings more."
"Based on the website, we had very high expectations of Go Country, as the photos made the accommodation look really beautiful! Unfortunately, websites cannot be trusted. We stayed in Shona's Place Chalet, which based on the photos, looked stunning. On arrival we were very disappointed. We had to call to get 3 globes replaced as they were not working (basic maintenance before guests arrive). The couch was in a terrible state, the one leg kept falling off of the bottom of the couch, and the actual couch was worn and faded and in a bad way. A wooden chair in the lounge was broken, which we found out the hard way, when one of us sat down, and landed on the floor! There were spare duvets in the cupboards without duvet covers, and were dusty and stained. Overall, the unit was in need of some good TLC. The restaurant has also been closed down, which is sad. I believe the photos on the website were taken a long time ago!"
"We needed a stopover from Joburg to Kruger and Go Country was exactly what we needed. A very friendly and peaceful place. I wish we would have stayed a bit longer.<br />"
"We had a wonderful stay at Go Country. The owners are very friendly and go the extra mile to make your stay pleasant. Will return to Go Country again soon and would definitely recommend staying at Go Country."
"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Go Country. The hosts were very welcoming and extremely helpful. Loved the horses and all the dogs, truly a nature lover's dream. Our only regret is not staying longer. We will definitely be back! Thank you.Sheree & Justin"
"The hosts were very welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful."
"The owners and staff were very friendly and the accommodation was clean. The outside appearance is nothing like the website and needs maintenance urgently. The website does not mention 9,5km of gravel road (quite bad) travelling, it just says turn and travel for 9,5km. Only after we paid our deposit did we receive a call and were told the road is quite bad. Very remote, no TV or MTN cell phone reception."
