  "We spent 1 night and left the next morning.1. This place was called a family unit, it was way too small. It does not cater for small children. 2. It states its a 4 sleeper, there was no bedding for the sleeper couches (sheet, duvet or pillows) 3. The unit was dirty. There was dust all over the place, and the shelf was even sticky. The sleeper couch was extremely dirty and smelled. There were dirty dishes in the cupboard and dishes on the drying rack. The one pillow slip was dirty, looked like vomit on the cover. There were also holes on the pillow covers.4. The toilet seat was broken.5. The pool was only cleaned on the day of our arrival and with the amount of chlorine used we would have never been able to swim.Clearly this unit was not checked and cleaned before our arrival. This was a huge disappointment. The accommodation was uninhabitable for young children.I have requested for a full refund."

  "The place is close to the CBD and the other entertainment areas like Ushaka and the beaches. The following needs improvements: 1. My room had a shower only but there was no shower cap for my wife. 2. The breakfast needs some attention, on the second day they did not have just a yoghurt and a mere bread, had to delay the breakfast waiting for someone going to buy a bread. 3. The garden for room 2 needs maintenance. In overall the place is good and so the reception, except the above mentioned."

  "45 Broadway Lodge is a great base of operations from which to explore and then relax and rest!Lovely surroundings, immaculate rooms and friendly staff helping with your every need.In spite of the "load shedding" (i.e., rolling power outages), Sandra made a lovely breakfast.Be sure to get driving instructions from her ahead of time...she can also help you with how to get to shopping, golf and activities in the area.Durban can be a challenge...but Sandra makes it easy and fun!"

  "From the moment we entered the Yard with my wife, she said this is what we have been looking for, a place that will give us a piece of mind. The reception was wonderful, Melinda offered to guide us if we needed help with the places to visit since we are not familar with the place. Breakfast in bed and roses is not what I expected, for that reason I made reservations for next year. To our amazement our room gets cleaned everyday, that you do not get on the B&B. Cleanliness and the garden was the highlight of the place, not forgeting the view of the Sea from the balcony. Actually we did not drive to the shop, they are 150m away from the Guest house as driving is the last you want to do. Everything that a person wants is a stones throw away. we are going back again next year."
