Clinch Self Catering
Clinch Self Catering comprises 5 units - The Apartment, Cosy Nest, Cosy Nook, Cosy Den and Cosy Corner. Nine, four, four, two and six sleepers respectively.
We are very conveniently situated, clean and affordable, and suitable for holiday makers and business persons alike. We are close to all of Durbans and Umhlanga Rocks swimming beaches and tourist attractions, and very close to several popular family restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, supermarkets and shops. Each unit has its own private entrance, airconditioning and secure offroad parking. Sleeps up to 25 persons.
The Apartment is a spacious 2 bedroom unit. Main bedroom can sleep up to 4 persons on a kingsize bed and 2 single beds or 4 single beds, the second bedroom can have a kingsize bed and a single bed, or 3 single beds, and in the lounge there is a single bed and a sleeper couch. Leading right off the lounge is a lovely patio and built-in braai area. Sleeps up to 9 persons.
Cosy Nest and Cosy Nook are two adjacent small units each with 2 rooms thus totalling 2 separate rooms. Each room can have a kingsize bed or 2 single beds. Each unit has a shower room with shower, basin and toilet and there is an open plan, fully equipped kitchenette. Sleeps up to 4 persons each.
Cosy Corner is a lovely 3 room apartment. Each room can have a kingsize or twin beds. Main bedroom is ensuite, and there is a second shower room with shower, basin and toilet. There is an open plan kitchenette and right outside the front door there is a patio and lovely built in braai area. Sleeps up to 6 persons.
Cosy Den is a lovely, spacious 1 bedroom apartment with a kingsize bed or 2 single beds. There is a small lounge sitting area, a fully equipped kitchenette, bath or shower, basin and toilet. Just outside there is a covered braai area. There is DSTV (most channels) and the unit is airconditioned.
Please note that at Clinch Self Catering all units are completely self contained and private, and do nor share facilities with other guests, besides the car park. Each unit has its own private entrance, facilities and therefore privacy is assured. There is safe, secure parking directly outside each unit.

It's a quiet place and really good for relaxing. There is an amazing view of the clear blue waters as you exit the entrance. All in all, I enjoyed my stay there. The owners are very friendly and I wont hesitate to visit again."

12 October 2009"Clinch Cottage was the perfect home away from home. It was a nice quiet & relaxing home and close to all the main attractions that we wanted to see. Lauwrie was very welcoming and we felt right at home in the cottage. It was great to have a place where our 3 year old son could play outside safely. Next time we visit Durban, Clinch Cottage will definitely be our temporary home again! The only problem was that our holiday was too short, as holidays always seem to be!"
