Manor-House B&B

Manor House Guest House is a very much a preferred Durban "Home away from Home" and over the last 13 years this has become very evident. Being centrally situated between Durban and Umhlanga, in the prestigious and leafy suburb of Durban North, Manor House is the first Guest House over the Umgeni River, right behind the renowned Riverside Hotel.

Offering eight luxurious en-suite rooms, all eight rooms offered are different; some large family suites, some with single beds and some with an outdoor area. What remains as a constant is the equipment in each room; aircon, a desk, a casual chair, TV and DSTV, a hairdryer, Wi-Fi and complimentary tea and coffee. All bathrooms are equipped with bathroom toiletries. In addition, all rooms are equipped with bar fridges, microwaves, kettle and toaster, for those guests choosing a quiet meal in their rooms.

The rooms are serviced by our friendly and capable housekeepers. Secure and ample parking is also available. Two lounges are available for guest relaxation. The dining room seats 20 guests comfortably at individual tables. Breakfasts are a feature at Manor House, and a wide choice of warm dishes are offered. Served by management, nothing is too much trouble. Situated in a tranquil and tropical garden, a sparkling pool awaits guests as well as a pool gazebo and garden braai facilities.

Nothing is too much trouble at Manor House; laundry is outsourced, airport and local shuttles can be made by arrangement, and recommendations to on the doorstep dining and fast food options can be provided.Experience something special in this family-owned and managed Guest House, with Paul and Nikki living on the property but in a separate home. Paul takes delight in welcoming all guests with a welcome drink and Nikki will spoil you with a two-course meal of the day dinner which is arranged in the morning.

Manor House Guest House is a stones throw away from the Home of the Sharks, the Moses Mabhida Stadium, the Durban Country Club, the Kings Park swimming and athletics stadium and more. Many sporting enthusiasts find Manor House the best positioned Guest House, being minutes away from these venues. The Sun Coast Casino and beach is also just 3 km away and the Durban ICC 5 km.
