Slakkepas 17 is a lovely self-catering little house situated in Dwarskersbos on the West Coast. Slakkepas is a security complex with a communal swimming pool and is only a short walk to the beach. The ideal place for a break from the big city life, with long walks on the beach and just relaxing.
This thatched-roof house has a fully equipped kitchen with laundry facilities, and an open-plan living area with a double sleeper couch and a TV with full DStv. All bedding and bath towels are provided, guests must bring their own swimming towels.
There is a large outside braai and an upstairs deck to watch the sunset. There is also a super white beach about 200 m down the road. The complex has a swimming pool and a clubhouse with table tennis, pool table and fooseball.
Nearby town of Velddrif is a coastal fishing town located on the estuary where the Berg River flows into St. Helena Bay.
Dwarskersbos is a great holiday destination.

11 July 2016"Ons het die verblyf in Slakkepas baie geniet. Ek hou baie van die kompleks, dis veilig, netjies en eks mal oor die styl van die eenhede. Die eenheid was baie goed toegerus en het in al ons behoeftes voorsien en ek hou baie van die dekor. Ek sal dit vir enigiemand kan aanraai."

05 March 2015"The 3 days at Dwarskersbos were most enjoyable. Slakkepas 17 was perfect for the two of us. We slept in the upstairs bedroom with the sliding door open to admit the night breeze, and watched the stars until we fell asleep. From the balcony we enjoyed the view over the adjacent farm during sundowners. <br />The swimming pool (paced at 11m) was just big enough and the water at a pleasant temperature. During 3 sessions I swam 364 lengths (4 km). <br />Endless beach for strolling with our feet in the water. I ended daily jogs along the beach with a quick dip in the waves before breakfast. The water varied between cold during the rising tide and cool during the falling tide. <br />Dwarskersbos will be my favorite resort from now on. We'll definitively be back!<br />"
