Bunker Cottage
The lovely Bunker Cottage is located in Hermanus Heights and overlooks the 25th putting green of the Hermanus Golf Course. Patios and garden front and back with own courtyard entrance with weber braai. This non-smoking apartment offers guests two bedrooms that are furnished with either a queen-size or twin beds. The two rooms each have their own bathroom with a shower and a bath and linen and towels are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, 4 plate stove, a microwave and a fridge-freezer.
Guests can enjoy their meals at the six-seater dining table in the living room. The lounge is comfortably furnished and equipped with a TV with full premium DStv and DVD player. Free Wifi is included in daily rate.
The private veranda is equipped with a braai and also has seating for eight guests.
The apartment has a private entrance and undercover parking is available behind automatic gates. Unfortunately pets are not allowed.
The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer 4 plate stove etc.
Full premium DSTV and free Wifi is included in daily rate, we also have an inverter on the TV so you can still watch when there is load shedding.
Hermanus offers a variety of attractions and activities, we are just around the corner from Hermanus Country Market, and to keep guests busy, whale watching, mountain walks in Fernkloof Nature Reserve, hikes and birdwatching to various water sports, quad biking and shark cage diving.
There is an inverter for the TV when we have those inevitable Eskom outages.
Bunker Cottage is COVID 19 compliant and is fully sanitised before guests arrive and when they leave. PPE is supplied as well as hand sanitiser and signage regarding social distancing and hand washing is in place. Guests can make use of full laundry facilities to avoid taking anything from the premises for washing. KEEP SAFE.

29 October 2018"We had an amazing stay, everything was comfortable. We felt very at home. Everything we needed was available in the apartment. Sue and John was very helpful with anything we asked they even recommended the market that is not far from them. The view from the apartment is wonderful. Would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants a break from the hussle of city life. It is very relaxing. The only thing that needs improvement is the one bathroom. the toilet struggles to flush."

13 May 2018"The Unit is great. All the facilities are excellent EXCEPT the single beds in the second bedroom. The matresses are finished. These beds simply do not belong in this unit.<br/><br/>Establishment Response:<br/><br/>Mr Gush is the first guest to complain about the single bed mattresses which are only three years old, however we appreciate his positive comments regarding the accommodation and will look into upgrading the mattresses."

The apartment itself was spacious and we didn't need for anything, everything we could possibly want was supplied. Nicely furnished and very clean.</p><p>The owners were very nice and helpful, especially with recommendations on where to eat, ect. </p><p></p><p>Thank you for making our stay so lovely. Well fitted kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. Lovely large patio with 2 loungers, and table and chairs etc, also shaded patio at side of house for braai and table & chairs.Wonderfully relaxing place to stay. Loved everything about it."

The road name Fernkloof Drive does not appear any more when you turn left, it is called Fairways Road. This really confused us and resulted in it taking much longer to find the place."
