"Simple, sufficient, cosy and clean but without the small touches that make a stay memorable. Especially convenient if attending a wedding at South Hill or Old Mac Daddy.<br/><br/>The cottages are close together with limited privacy between them. But still peaceful and heated towel racks on a winter's morning were great. <br/><br/>A welcome note, basic tea and coffee, reminder list of where to find things, clear numbering, knowing which cottage we were staying in beforehand would've helped.<br/><br/>Clear directional signage once on the farm is needed. Luckily we didn't arrive in the dark."
"We stayed at Glen Stuart for the weekend, as we had a wedding at South Hill Estate which is very nearby. We enjoyed the experience, the beds were fantastic and the vibe very cosy. It really has all you need for a minimalist weekend stay.<div><br /></div><div>Perfect for people who want to get away for the weekend with a few friends (or two couples) and just feed a fire and braai.</div><div><br /></div><div>Wouldn't suggest it for a family though.</div><div><br /></div><div>Very friendly owner (Mrs Gower), and very helpful when we had an issue with our warm water (it's on a farm, so things are bound to need a knock or two before they work properly - which was part of the charm!)</div>"
"We were rather disappointed as the pictures on the website were not what our cottage looked like. We assumed that it was a working farm only to discover that the farm was closed and there were no staff so nothing was happening thereThere was no microwave and as we had a baby that made things difficult."
