  "We loved the size of the place. It was way bigger than we expected. The bathroom, lounge and bedrooms are spacious and accommodating. We had 2 little ones with us and they had more than enough space to run around and play inside the house. It really is a home away from home. We didn't feel as if we were in a little cottage or chalet. The scenery is absoutlely magnificent. Perfect inside and out!"

  "Lovely surprise! Everything was exceptionally clean, more space than you could have expected, friendly host and dogs and a beautiful farm to go for a morning walk on. Way more than we expected and for the price we were just blown back!"

  "Rose Cottage is a wonderful 6 sleeper cottage in the beautifl Elgin Valley. The cottage has been recently renovated up to a high standard, the beds are super-comfy and the surrounding garden is twitcher-heaven!"

  "It was a brilliant stay.<br/> Very, very beautiful surroundings and very quiet at night.<br/>It would be great if there was a guest swimming pool as one is not permitted to swim in the dam."

  "Stayed at Rose cottage to attend a wedding in the area and found the accommodation to be fine. The bathrooms are very nice and there were more than enough towels with heaters, warm water bottles and a fireplace to heat the place up as it can get quite cold.<div><br /></div><div>I found that the kitchen needs a good cleaning and some spots were really dirty.</div><div><br /></div><div>The cottage is separated from the other houses on the property and is really lovely</div>"

We all had a lovely experience at the cottage, we wish we could have stayed for much longer.Apart from the occasional buzz from the road, the cottage is still and you are completely surrounded by the tranquility of the birds singing and the breeze blowing!   "Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage with us! It is placed in such breathtaking scenery, close to wine farms, quaint restaurants and farms stalls with lovely bird life and two friendly dogs. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean, spacious and homely. Thank you for a wonderful 3 days."

  "My stay was relaxing, but the broken road leading to the cottage was like a 4X4 trail. At all the guest houses I've stayed in they normally clean the house every morning before I return back to the guest house. If you got huge dogs in the surroundings or on the property, they must keep them in a enclosed area. Couldn't even braai outside because of the dogs(Boerboels) walking around the place I was staying in. I'm also a dogs love, I also got 2 Boerboel at home. Other than that my stay was relaxing."
