"Food was great, lovely view, but found accommodation too expensive, was not value for money."

  • "Amazing spot!"

    10 March 2014

"After looking for places to stay close to a wedding at Gabrielskloof Wine Estate, Tripadvisor rated Wildekrans as #1 in the area.I arranged with a group of mates to book out all three double rooms and the 4 sleeper guest cottage and the result was incredible. We were treated to service from Allison and her staff that was refreshing, committed and really made our stay one of the best breaks I have had to date. The rolling lawns, many orchards and beautiful setting makes this country house an ideal place to get away from Cape Town for a break. My only regret is not booking more time to enjoy the area."

  • "Beautiful and relaxing place to stay"

    30 November 2009

"Stayed for 2 nights in the cottage with another couple. Enjoyed the setting and the peaceful environment of the gardens and general location. The house is ideally placed as a base to tour the surrounding area which is too far to visit on a day trip from Cape Town. Breakfast in the garden was an absolute treat. Would would love to return if we visit Cape Town at any time in the future"
