Anchorage B&B

The Anchorage is situated in the tranquil seaside village of Elysium. The stylish and affordable accommodation overlooks the panoramic blue Indian Ocean where you can view whales and dolphins frolicking in the sea during the season.

From the balcony of your bedroom you wake up to the sounds of the sea, birds singing and majestic sunrises. This B&B has spectacular sea views from each and every bedroom and the mood is friendly and relaxing.

A full English breakfast is served in the dining room downstairs where large glass sliding doors open on to the garden giving you a view of the sea or inland towards lush vegetation and sunsets.

The swimming pool and gazebo are for your use and entertainment. Slip into the pool with a cocktail, bask in the sun or enjoy a braai.

There are four double en-suite rooms. All bedrooms are spacious, have flat screen TV's, a bar fridge, tea and coffee station.

Each suite leads onto the patio where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, or sundowners later in the day.

Although the local beach does not have shark nets there are a number of beautiful protected beaches within close proximity. The local beach offers excellent fishing and wonderful walks and is only 5 minutes down the road. If you are looking for a quiet and tranquil getaway this is the place to be.

Activities nearby include:

Golfing, Go-karting, Hiking, Fishing, Scuba diving, Horse riding, Oribi Gorge, Kiting, Kayaking, Mountain biking, Ocean safaris, Shopping, Reptile park, Croc World and Shark cage diving to name but a few.

If she had of telephoned me, I would have put her in a cottage up the road, the problem with a lot of guests, they want the cheapest accommodation and then make alternative arrangements and then want their deposit back. As far as the safety situation, my son lives on the property and has a dog that does not allow anyone near the gate, never mind on the property. This has nothing to do with the Anchorage B&amp;B which is upmarket.</em></span></p>"
