Ethen Guest House is a newly renovated guest house that caters for the business traveller and tourist alike. The guest house is conveniently positioned just two blocks away from Savanna Mall and only a five minute drive away from the Polokwane Central Business District and the magnificent Peter Mokaba Stadium.

All of the rooms have superior quality en-suite bathrooms, TV sets with DStv channels, and mini-bar fridges. Each room is tastefully furnished and decorated to make you feel pampered; and each room leads out onto the beautifully manicured garden where you can relax while sipping on an ice-cold sundowner. Room service is available, and if you prefer to have breakfast in your room, you will be served in bed.

"We stayed two nights at Ethen Guesthouse. Everyone was very friendly and the place was simple but clean. The first night we were in a room far from the reception and the Internet did not work for us. But the second day the owners asked if we would prefer to switch to a room where there was Internet reception. This room was nicer and the Internet worked perfectly. Overall this was a fine place for the price range."

"I am very disappointed with my stay at Ethen due to the fact that the rooms are very small. There were no coffee in the room although the sugar and cremora was very evident. There are no telephones in the room to contact the so-called 24 hour reception which does not exist. The breakfast was terrible. The eggs were prepared long before the time and was rubbery which was served with viennas and baked beans. The DSTV channels they advertised which is in the rooms only consists of one sport channel. The parking area is also a problem especially when you have a bigger than normal small car.I would definately not stay there again. The only positive thing about the place is the person which helped us at the reception."
