  "your guest house is clean and up to standard,a good place to host celebrities. staff is available 24/7 to assist people. I would love it if you can increase the operating hours of the restaurant,we arrived their from Johannesburg and we were hungry but the restaurant was closed. it will be a good thing to have it open for the guests who are travelling at night since all the main restaurants in Ficksburg doesn't open at night. or it will also be good to have your own catering instead of a restaurants,it is a bit confusing that you saying there is room service while your restaurant is closing. we slept with hunger because we arrived after 10pm. consider those visitors travelling from far as in like Joburg/durban etc were there are no places to stop and buy food, we were hoping to eat at the guest house. My second concern is that the receptionist told us that the guest house doesn't allow visitors but only the person who booked the room even if they not sleeping over, the visitors are not even allowed to go the room as they will be charged. i personally fee likel that rule is a bit too strict as sometimes we would like to keep our guests company and ensure that they are fine and have everything they need.also in a situation we found ourselves in on Thursday were we didn't have food, we had to get people who know Ficksburg to bring us food but they were told to leave the rooms as they will be charged.for Breakfast, it will be good if people have options to choose on, as some people are allergic to some food."

  "This was realy and experience to see this beautiful guest house in Ficksburg. We loved almost everything of it especially the comfort of the rooms with aircon and in-suite bathroom. The docoration of the room was beautiful where you can see a friendly professional hand in it. It is just a bit noisy in the rooms close to the area where the day visitors are coming together. Food at the restaurant a realy must have with friendly staff."

  "We booked through Safari and was charged R 1035 per night instead of R880. We paid R 1035 deposit to Safari, but when we arrived at the Guest House we were told we had to pay not only the remaining 50%, but also another R300, that was commision to Safari. I have booked through Safari many times before and has been a staunch supporter of their website, but this has been too much!!"

The staff are extremely friendly, the rooms are well appointed and clean, the gardens are well kept and the food at the restaurant is delicious. We really enjoyed our stay, especially having sun downers on the deck while watching the sun set behind the mountains."

  "Staff are friendly and helpful, hosts make you feel welcome from the first minute. Rooms are adequate, but family rooms not suited for babies and toddlers (we only had a shower in our very small bathroom). Restaurant serves decent food and has a nice, relaxed vibe."
