  "Shekinah Lodge does not reflect what is on the pictures. The appliances are in a very poor state as well as the bedding. Some of the rooms are not even equipped with basins and you have to wash your dishes in a bucket. This is no value for money. The place is also very dirty and the bedding very old and torn. Not nice at all. The only highlight was that it was a 2 min drive from the conference we attended. The place needs drastic changes"

  "We arrived very late but still got a very friendly welcome at the Lodge. The room was very spacious and neat. The only problem was that the bar fridge was not working and there was no cleaning services on Saturday.<br />"

  "Me & my partner had a wonderful experience at the Shekinah Lodge. We couldn't stop talking about it, the rooms are spacious, clean, good lighting. what I loved the most is the ethnic game feel about it, like you're in a game lodge & the braai area, the small kitchen, the tea & coffee ready for u to make for yourself, they have the iron & the ironing board at your service, I'd definitely come back again. Thank you again for a wonderful stay."

  "We were 4 staying in the family room. The general room with 3 single beds is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is en suite from the additional room. Bathroom is minute, as big as a cupboard with toilet, wash basin and shower. Note shower has curtain which means water on the floor. Otherwise a comfortable stay.Mini TV in general room facing 2 single beds."

  "I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the place ! The pictures of the lodge looked so perfect online. The bedding, curtains and furniture looked old & tatty. The sliding door/window was dirty."

  "I was not happy at all with the environment of the lodge, The room has no window, the blankets where dirty bin no smell good, I could not have a Good sleep as I could over hear the neighbour's conversation. The lady there, Marianna did not treat me well as she was shouting at me when I asked her to have a room that was clear, with good ventilation"

  "Wat 'n aaklige plek. My ouers het glad nie lekker gebly nie. Die plek is baie verwaarloos en dan word daar net vir hulle warm water bottels gegee vir die nag. Hulle sal verseker nooit weer daar slaap nie en ek sal ook nie die plek aan beveel nie! Jammer maar ek voel die plek hoort nie eers op julle website nie."

  "Baie dankie Mariana vir die lekker naweek. Ons troue was nou nie 'n sukses nie maar ten minste was die verblyf baie lekker. Ons het tuis gevoel, en baie lekker gebly. Sou net graag 'n lekker warm dag wou he om bietjie te swem, maar ons het die reen baie meer nodig as 'n swem. Baie dankie vir die lekker bly by Shekinah Lodge.
