The Old Country House and Cottage Fouriesburg

Come and experience the crisp clean air of the eastern Free State in the relaxed atmosphere of the Old Country House and Cottage in the heart of Fouriesburg. Spend the evening with friends and family in front of an original coal stove and greet the morning sunrise with a coffee on the verandah.

Accommodation is offered in a self-catering country house, and a separate cottage. The house features three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The first two rooms each contain a double bed and an en suite with either a bath or a shower, and the third bedroom contains a double bed and a single bed with an en suite. The house includes a fully equipped kitchen with a coal stove, as well as an outdoor braai area.

The cottage features one bedroom and one bathroom with a bath and a shower. The cottage has its own living and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, and the living area features a sleeper couch, a TV with a DVD player, and an outside braai area.

This is one of the first houses built in Fouriesburg and was restored to its original sandstone glory. The house overlooks the historic NG Church which is a beautiful sandstone church.
