"It was such a pity that we only stayed one night - I would've loved to stay longer. We will definitely return to Auberge Clermont on our next visit to Franschhoek. "We received a friendly and warm welcome at this peaceful working farm for our overnight stay in the comfortable and well appointed honeymoon suite. Lovingly tended gardens and pretty court yards separate the various wings and an early morning stroll between the vines and luscious plum orchards is highly recommended to admire the beautiful mountain views. Friendly, quiet and unobtrusive staff served a delicious breakfast on tables set with starched linen. Loved it."

"We loved our stay and found our room to be both romantic and glamourous.The breakfast was lovely and in such a tranquil enviroment. I found the little extras in the room made the stay more memorable eg the jug of bathsalts, candles etcWe shall be back, with our children next time.Thank you for a relaxing weekend."

"We received a very warm welcome from Cheryl and enjoyed staying there very much. As well as a lot of very useful help and advice about good places to have lunch and dinner, we particulary appreciated help in booking the "wine tasting on horseback" with Paradise Stables. The weather forecast provided at breakfast was a nice touch too. We did have a bit of difficulty with the flow of water in the bathroom but this was sorted out without any fuss. The auberge itself is very elegantly designed and decorated and the surroundings in the vineyard in view of the hills are fantastic."
