"The whole place is not maintained and just horrible"

"Everything can be improved from inside and outside. We are sure that SafariNow never visited this place. The price of R910 / room is compared to other B&Bs much overrated and we think half of it would still be expensive.The staff we hardly see, and we only heard their loud radio in the kitchen...The outside area and the bar were deserted and not in use, only for storage. The rate for the dinner is on the Level of Cape Town but not provincial Fraserburg."

"If I compare the prize to the other, it is not worth it.The place where I prepare my tee/coffee, the toilet and shower is in the one third of the room next to another, The breakfast was poor. We did not make contact with the owner. I cannot recommend it and will never stay over again"

"We stayed one night at the Kliphuis Country Inn, arriving very late after 7 8 hours driving. Ronel was not there but called us early afternoon to make arrangements to collect the keys from her neighbour who's luckily not an early bird. The rooms we stayed in were great, with clean towels and crisp linen. We enjoyed a great traditional English breakfast the next morning before leaving for Calvinia. I would recommend the Kliphuis to any tired and weary traveller or family to stay over. The Kliphuis will be the place where I would stay if I ever travel through Fraserburg again. Nice place and thank you for the hospitality we received from the staff."
