We offer private and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful garden setting.For your evening meal you have more than 20 restaurants to choose from and a few cosy pubs varying from traditional to Thai food, all within a few minutes walking distances from our home.The Winelands of Paarl, Franschoek Little Switzerland and Stellenbosch are about 45 minutes drive by car.Even though we are situated just above the City Centre, we have a garden atmosphere in a quiet oak lined street with views of the mountain. "While the owner was very sociable and the breakfast was indeed good (as per other reviews) the rooms sadly fell very short of expectations. There was a strong smell of damp and the mat carpets felt dirty. The garden was a mess and there is no pool- it is no larger than a washbasin and I do not think it should be listed as a feature. The wind was very strong during our stay and we could not sleep because of the noise and the draft- the windows are all nailed open which was just odd and frankly unacceptable. The whole feeling is shabby and old- even a bit grotty. And it was not cheap - for the experience we had it was pricey. Location was handy. There was an uncomfortable moment when the owner tried to charge us for the fact that she had booked us in for an extra night by mistake despite the arrangements havig been made many many months in advance."

"B&B shuttle waiting for us at night at the airport. Beautiful decorated rooms, started the day with a delicious breakfast (home made muesli, jam ,croissants, fresh fruit and orange juice) while Trevor and Liz advised us the best options for the coming days and provided us with cellulars to make domestic calls. Gardens area is the best location to discover CPT. Long street with restaurants and live music within walking distance.Within 20min taxi ride you are at Camps bay/Clifton beach. Start your stay with a bus-hop tour to get acquainted with the city and surroundings. Other must include Tafelberg at sunset with 50% discount, concert on Sunday at Kirstenbosch beautiful gardens, shopping at Waterfront (incl ferry to Robben island, book online in advance!) or Green market. It was peak season and car rentals were sold out, this was the best thing that could have happened to us. We were 4 and Trevor offered us to take us on a private tour, one day Cape point and False Bay, the second one through the Winelands incl short township visit. The experience was so personal and unique that we have developed a really strong bond with this charming couple which will last forever. Thanks for this wonderful time and tot ziens!"

"The location of the guesthouse is perfect. It's located very central of the central of Capetown and from the guesthouse you can easily walk to the center of the city. In the same area there is plenty to do and we enjoyed every single day that we stayed. Every morning we got a delicious breakfast and the host was very nice and helpful! We would recommend this guesthouse to everyone!"
