  "The location was great, though the tower itself is an affront to the Table Mountain backdrop. I was in my flat for ten nights. It stank like fish when I arrived and that smell never really faded. Worse, the sink gurgled every time the toilet flushed -- or I should say semi-flushed. It usually took four or five flushes to don ny sort of solid waste, however small. The internet (which they try to charge for -- it's 2015 in Cape Town. It's actually insulting to hear someone say "well, it's South Africa!" I've been traveling to South Africa for almost two decades now. The idea that "well, we're South Africa" is an excuse is sickening, especially since literally hundreds of places of lodging in SA (including he one I am at right now, writing this) can provide fast internet as part of the larger cost. Finally, is there really a need for the cleaning staff to try to enter at 8:15 on Saturday morning?<div><br /></div><div>All that said, the desk staff -- two women who were there every day -- really was quite great. They did their best to help me, but there was only so much they could do.</div><div><br /></div><div>Loved the location, but if you need to rent a flat in Cape Town, there are better options.</div>"

  "Very smooth arrival arrangements, even if it was after midnight. The shopping centre came in very handy. Good location, parking and all, nice and pretty large apartment too.On the minus side, no heating (normally wouldn't be a problem but it was exceptionally cold), WiFi slow and kept dropping out."

  "I thought I would just say we weren't very impressed with the Gardens Centre Apartments. They were shabby, the linen, old and worn, there was no adequate mattress cover over the mattress. The carpets were terribly worn and marked and the whole room smelt terrible. We had to leave the windows wide hope and therefore couldn't sleep because of the traffic noise. The one lamp didn't work and generally the whole place was run down and not pleasant. Plus you could also leave information in the rooms regarding restaurants close by, maps, information re the Gardnes Centre etc. so no... we weren't impressed."

  "Best accomodation, I highly recommend Gradens Centre Holiday apartments. I loved my apartment, the view from my window was breath taking will stay here again. Loved the shops right on my door step. Best acomodation I have stayed at in Cape Town. VERY CLEAN AND NEAT. AMAZING!"

  "Thanks to Ellen for being so helpful. Accommodation is clean, comfortable and sufficient and very conveniently situated above an upmarket mall. TV's are in desperate need of upgrade (we didn't even have a remote with ours & awful picture quality), could do with more knives in kitchen as there was only a bread knife to cut things. Smoking is allowed in rooms so if you are a non-smoker this could be a problem. All in all, good value for money."

  "The facility is ok for a budget accomdation. They must however, address the guest parking. We opted for locked parking, but it was always full because it was over subscribed. We were forced to use open parking bays and request a refund as a result."
