• "Disappointing"

  "I arrived to an empty reception. After calling for help, i had to initiate the conversation between the receptionist and I. After having used an online voucher to make the payment for the accommodation, I was told that I had a balance to pay (the amount that the voucher was worth). I then had to explain how a voucher works. After much confusion, I was informed that they would contact SafariNow to resolve the issue. I was then told my room number and given the room key. I was not shown to my room nor told where it was. After finding my way to the room and settling in, I received a call on the room phone. It was reception telling me that they were unsucesssful in contacting SafariNow (Was not aware that it was my responsibility to resolve the issue?) While on the phone, the receptionist then said 'oh never mind, they are answering now' and preceded to put the phone down in my ear. That was the last I heard from reception about the matter. I later made my way downstairs to inquire as to the progress of resolution to which I was told that they managed to resolve the issue (would've been nice to inform me, no?). I was not greeted in the morning for breakfast service and experienced a very poor check-out service. I will not be staying here again, nor will I recommend it."

  "The bed was super comfortable and the staff very friendly. Breakfast I had the scrambled eggs and its the best I've ever tasted.Could just be cleaned a bit more thoroughly."

  "The lodge has no facilities for a family with children.No shuttle services.Therefore as a frequent traveller to cape town i would not recommend it. Their breakfast menu is very limited and the bar not replenished fof the duration we were staying.Dstv chanels only 3 channels available."

  "I was extremely lucky to find such quality but affordable accommodation at such late notice, during the peak season. I literally booked the day I decided I needed accommodation, which was that busy period between Xmas and New Year. I was most pleasantly surprised at the lovely themed accommodation and hospitality in a quiet but central part of Cape Town. I will definitely be booking again."
