Berghaan 43B offers comfortable accommodation to three guests, in the town of Gariep Dam. Various activities such as birdwatching, game viewing, freshwater fishing, boat cruises; water sports, dam wall tours, gliding and bowling can be enjoyed, and guests may even be rewarded with the call of a fish eagle.
The house is air-conditioned and the main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. There is a single in the open-plan living area and linen, towels and electric blankets are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, two-plate stove, cutlery and crockery, and guests can relax in the lounge which is equipped with a TV with DStv. The house also has a private indoor braai area.

02 June 2017"Just a great overnight stay on route to Cape Town. Nice and quiet - very close to the great Garieb dam and the shopping centre. We were upgraded to the bigger of the two units at no extra cost. The kitchen requires a bit of a revamp - otherwise it was great - clean and quite comfortable - like home away from home.All the bedrooms looked great, lounge / TV room is good and comfortable - braai area very neat - overall a great place to spend a night or two."
