  "I'm a sucker for a tent, all the better if it comes with a proper bed and bathroom. Look no further! Agama has 7 gorgeous permanent tents, complete with bathroom and verandah, in a beautiful valley about 20km outside of Garies. So many nice touches -- hot water bottles in winter, a pair of scissors to open your packet of Ouma rusks. The owners deliver hot water for coffee to your door in the morning and light your oil lamps for you at night. And the food -- dinner and breakfast are included in the price -- is delicious! Highly recommended."

  "I loved the way Victor and Linda made us feel at home. The tent was great. Including the hot water bag to warm up the bed in the cold Namakwa night. With Karin I discussed the different ways to make boboti. The camp is part of a farm and completely self suffucient. Impressing."

  "A group of friends and I spent last Friday night at Agama. Despite a very late arrival, we were treated to an amazing dinner in one of the most beautifully set-up camps I've seen! The next day was sheer bliss, waking up in a luxurious fluffy bed to the sound of bokmakieries and the smell of frying bacon... we'll definitely be back!"

  "We stayed 2 nights at Agama tented camp. It is really beautiful and peaceful. The hosts really make you feel welcome and the food is really good!! There is a nice entertainment area with a pool that you can relax at during the day. There is also a nice boma area where you can sit around a fire before or after dinner. The rooms are comfortable and all have nice views. You will also get to meet a little meerkat gommie that is tame and once you get to know her she is rather cute."

  "We had the most amazing time at Agama!Linda and Victor are truly special hosts and at the end of your stay you almost feel as if you are leaving dear family members.The tents are cosy and comfortable.After time at the bar and meeting other guests as well as dinner,time was spent around the fire with lots of chatting and laughing.A clever device is place under your chair with hot coal to warm your nether region! There is lots more to rave about,but go there yourself and find out!"

  "We had a wonderful overnight stay at Agama Tented Camp. The personal touches and hospitality of Linda and Victor, and their staff, was terrific. The tents are very comfortable, with all necessary amenities and very comfy beds. The food was outstanding - much of it, a lot of choice and tasty: homestyle cooking but with all the touches. We really enjoyed our stay and are so glad that we found this on the internet. We'd love to go back one day. We also appreciated the many SMS updates re our expected arrival from Karien. Many thanks.   "Beautiful setting and well managed. Dinner was great with a traditional Damara sheep dish. The evening spent in the boma with other guests and owners Linda and Vincent Burke was really pleasing. They even put out "hol verwarmers" under the chairs.The rooms were typical deck tented accommodation with a nice big queen sized bed. The smell from the flowers was very evident."
