Giyani is a town in the heart of Bushveld country and is made up of around 200 villages. Here you will find Kremetart Guesthouse.
This lovely guest house offers nine individually furnished rooms with double or single beds. Some of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms, while others share a bathroom. Each room is equipped with a TV with Premium Hotel Package DStv channels, as well as tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast is served in the dining area and dinners are available at a nearby guest house. We have a lovely garden where guests can relax or make use of the braai facilities. Parking is also provided.
Giyani is a popular town to visit en route to the Kruger National Park and even the local golf course hosts resident game such as zebra, giraffe, some antelope and a variety of bird life. The town has a big Spar where you can stock up on essentials if need be. Situated just outside the town is the Manomba Nature Reserve and the Nsami Dam, both peaceful locations with the occasional Baobab tree. The Punda Maria Gate to the Kruger National Park is a 90-kilometre drive away.
"We had a terrible experience with this stay. We were planning to stay there for 2 nights but we couldn't stay there anymore. We left after the first night. There were noises coming from the ceiling all night, it sounded like rats crawling. Our neighbours were shouting, laughing and screaming the entire night into the morning. You can hear doors open and close from the other rooms. The sheets and the room are not as clean as they appear. The cherry on top was not receiving our breakfast after we've included in our booking. Terrible stay overall."
"I HAD A WONDERFULL STAY AT THE GUEST HOUSE"
"The yard is very dirty, there was no receptionist on arrival at 13h10 except for housekeeping who did not know where to start which check-in procedure. We booked three double-rooms and there were cockroaches,no toilet rolls and only one towel in each room.We had breakfast and was only told on departure that they charge it separately which is what was not communicated to us on arrival. Worse part is that we were overcharged for the food by the receptionist who was not friendly at all, let alone introduce herself. She was not professional."
"Great place to stay with friendly, helpful staff."
"This place looked very nice on the internet but in reality it was not that great. The room we stayed in had a saloon style swing door (with gaping holes) to the en-suite bathroom, we were only provided with one towel set intially despite booking the room for 2 people. The tea and coffee making facilities were not situated in the room but in the dining room and the fridges in the kitchen were dirty and smelt bad. However the beds were comfortable and it was nice to watch a bit of the Olympics. If you need a cheap stopover en route to Kruger then this place is fine, but don't expect too much."
