  "Loved the setting. Only two gripes. The main bedroom bed needs replacing. Both our backs were so sore the next morning that we migrated to the spare bedroom bed the second night. Secondly the Geezer is on a timer(I understand it is to save electricity) but when you need a hot shower to heat your near hyperthermic child up after a swim in the sea mid day its a pain. also leaving early on checking out day having to run thru a cold shower on a cold morning is no fun. Please take it as constructive criticism. and not dissing your lovely establishment. I have already advised some of my friends of the nice place so will recommend it any day."

  "It's rare that you can write a review without even a friendly suggestion to improve anything, but here we are...We wanted for nothing in Casli's Cottage. Everything was clean, modern and comfortable. Even when the weather is dodgy, you can't help but to be drawn out across the expansive lawn and towards the ocean, which fills your view. If you have children who love the little things in nature, prepare to spend hours on the first beach which has about 150 square metres of shells to dig through! Rock pools at low tide are right on your doorstep and are very healthy rock pools with plenty to discover. We were treated to a 4-hour whale parade on our last day and wish we'd been able to stay longer.Thank you Linda for your fabulous hospitality! Can't wait to come back with the whole family!"

  "Caslis Cottage is not only located just 100m away from one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen but is well-equipped, blessed with a stunning view of the ocean, and situated within range of some of the sights East London has to offer. The beach is quiet and there is a lagoon and miles of dune and coast to explore. We saw some dolphins, too. <br/><br/>As a self-catering cottage, everything you may need is right there. There is even a hammock you can hang up, a fireplace (in the Luxury Cottage), and extra blankets to cuddle up in. Linda was super-friendly and so helpful, even going so far as to drop off some two-prong plug adapters as we forgot them at home."

  "My husband and I had a lovely time at Casli's Cottage. We live a rushed and crazy life, always busy and traveling. It was our first visit to Casli's, and also to Glen Gariff. On our first day, we were the only people on the beach - wonderful! As the week progressed, more visitors arrived. We don't have children, but what a wonderful spot for children to play. My husband went fishing each day, off the rocks just close by and caught 9 fish in 3 days! (Sorry wives, I had to say this, it will make your husband's trip, if he's a fisherman... and of course yours too...) I picked up shells on the beach, and the weather played along beautifully. The water was transparent, and I imagined I was on an island somewhere! Friends couldn't believe the photo's I showed them! The locals were also so friendly! As for the cottage, it was just what we needed. My husband was surprized at how well equiped it was - we really had everything we needed. We enjoyed the evenings and passed our time chatting, making a potjie, having a braai. We didn't switch on the TV, and sat watching the waves at night, chatting and enjoying each other's company. Wonderful for us as our time together is usually so limited. We didn't even see the folks staying in the family cottage, and the honeymoon couple - we saw them just once. So it was private too. If you like simple living when you're on a get away trip, no fancy bells and whistles, then this is a good spot for you. Also nice that there aren't malls and shops around the corner, however, the centre which is about 10km away really had all we needed. And sooooo affordable!!! Enjoy your stay at Casli's - we did!"

  "We loved our stay in the luxury unit (fully equipped with everything you need) and it must be the prime holiday spot in Glengariff. The view is amazing from the patio over the ocean and the rocks.
