George Country Resort

George Country Resort is located in a caravan park, situated 7 km from the George CBD. Found in the heart of the Garden Route, halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, it is the ideal place for a quiet weekend getaway.

The resort offers various lodging types, including self-catering chalets with braai facilities, backpacker dorms with communal kitchen and bathroom facilities, and private caravan and tent blocks with private kitchen and bathroom facilities. The park has a swimming pool, a childrens playground and recreation area, coin operated laundry facilities and a trampoline.

There are many nearby attractions, including Tsitsikama National Park, Victoria Bay and several restaurants.

"George Country Resort - fantastic place to stay - rooms were ready as soon as we arrived although they are not normally ready till 2pm - well the rooms are fantastic. fully equipped with everything you would need for self catering. Staff were all amazingly friendly and very helpful. Truly a very enjoyable experience."

"I really loved the scenery, it was admirable and the environment was quiet. The rooms was clean, comfortable and spacious. Service was fantastic and I will definitely go back. The Resort is recommendable."

"I was informed on arrival that the resort was overbooked and that I would not be staying in one of the units I booked.<div><br /></div><div>I was not informed of this any time prior to my arrival and was unable to make other arrangements</div><div><br /></div><div>Another visitor in the unit next to me had the same experience.</div><div><br /></div><div>This is bad customer service in my books.</div>"
