"Severely overpriced, lack of parking, grounds are dirty, eating room is dirty and untidy, noisy guests and staff do nothing about it, dirty curtains, dirty towels, key cards dont work properly, unfriendly staff. This should be an absolute last resort to stay at. Nothing is as advertised."

"<p>We travel a lot and love booking through Safarinow. The Deck on Manning was terrible, we did not sleep there since one of the 2rooms with a view we bookedwere strangely no longer available when we checked in. They offered a 'family' room to us right up on the edge of the property, no view and no inspiration whatsoever, very low standard compared towhat the quote made me believe I was getting. When I said I accepted a quote for 2 rooms next to each other for a family of 5, they showed us a small dark room in a passage far away from the sub-standard room up on the property, which would not work for a family.I asked for a quote to have my laundry done, when I got back to them 2 hours later to seethe quote, they had already sent my entire suitcase away and said it would cost R650! I had to wait till the next morning to get my clothes back - without ever having agreed for them to send it away. We had to then drive up and down Durban, on a Friday afternoon,to look for suitable accommodation.</p><p>Generally by far the worst experience.</p>"
"Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the guesthouse, particularly to women traveling alone. I think the positive reviews on safarinow are not recent. The guesthouse is in need of refurbishment, and can no longer be considered a four star establishment. Finally, the clientele are a problem - guests next to my room were drunk, kept me awake all night, and intimidated me. The owner of the guesthouse I subsequently went to (having canceled my second night) said that it had become a 'sailors' den', and she had had another woman come to her after canceling her stay."
"The B+B is dated and needs upgrading. Requested room was not available on the first night and owner told us that this had been communicated to and agreed by Safari Now. The alternate room was shocking, broken tiles in shower, bath so grubby it could not be used.<div>Fortunately the booked room was available from the second night.</div><div>This is definitely not a four star establishment anymore and to advertise it as such is misleading.</div><div>Will not be going back there !</div>"
"Overall, everything was good."
"We enjoyed our stay and would like to thank the staff for the assistance with our luggage. We enjoyed the view over the harbour."
"The hospitality was excellent, with the receptionist going an extra mile to provide us with a list of places for sight seeing and directions to the places. A chocolate was provided every day in the room on the bed.<br/><br/>The breakfast was really nice as it was delicious and we ate to our fill.<br/><br/>The downside was the swimming pool. One of my major considerations for booking the Deck on the Manning was the pool, but I found that it was dirty and so I could not use it.<br/><br/>Overall, I was sceptical at first, but I tremendously enjoyed my stay at the Deck on Manning."
"My family and I had a very nice stay at Deck on Manning. Very comfy and relaxed feeling. Great bakery across the street also. The rooms were very comfy and clean and a nice size. Loved morning tea on the veranda."
