"The previous time we stayed at Gonubie Manor we loved it, this time, two years later, we were sadly disappointed. We had to use an alternative route to enter the property as the main gate and the remote for it, did not work. You could not go in or out the main gate. The kettle lid is broken, the dirt drum lid is broken, the water bucket lid was broken. The place had been cleaned and clean bedding and towels were provided but the place had a musty smell and an overall neglected feeling. I would like to thank Amy for all her attempts to assist us even though she was off duty."
"We stayed over at Gonubie Manor on our 2nd night of our motor cycle trip to Mozambique. We arrived quite late in the afternoon with very little in supplies as not easy on a heavy loaded motorcycle. Our host was so obliging by supplying wood and all we needed for our "braai"at no extra cost and Kate and I slipped off to the bar for well deserved refreshments whilst our boys went into town for supplies. The barmen who were about to close after a long day and a wedding to cater for were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and they kept assuring us that we were not holding them up. The accommodation was great. Everything one needs which is everything when travelling by bike. The estate and surroundings are so beautiful. Would definitely visit again. Had a great time at Gonubie Manor...."
"What a pleasant experience we had at Gonubie Manor, Lady 'D' you're simply the best...! keep on doing what you love best..! Patricia, Candice and Ntshembo."
"We had a very friendly and professional welcoming at the Manor that made one feel welcome. The accomodation units are well laid out.The only down side is the showers with the gas geyser con't keep a constant heat."
