Heavenly Holiday Apartment

Heavenly Holiday Apartment offers charming accommodation and is located in East London within walking distance of the Gonubie Boardwalk.

The apartment has two bedrooms, of which one has a queen-size bed and the other has twin three-quarter beds. An additional two people can be accommodated on a sleeper couch in the lounge. There is a full family bathroom. All linen and bath towels are provided, however guests are required to bring their own beach towels. The open-plan lounge and dining room has a TV, DVD player and DStv. An outside balcony has sea views and is the ideal place to enjoy a Weber braai. The apartment has a double lock-up garage and parking behind a security gate. There is a laundry service available at an additional charge.

Gonubie is a great destination for surfing and deep-sea fishing. It offers a golf course as well as a gym close by. Enjoy beautiful beach walks and, when the tide is out, the lagoon is the ideal place to collect shells and enjoy some birdwatching.

"We were appalled but the condition of the unit and have taken several photographs of the terrible conditions of this place. Blood stains on the mattress, cockroaches in the kitchen cupboards, bath has chips on it and tiles very mouldy. The windows and the floors were very dirty. The crockery was all over the place and mismatched. I could go on."

"The spacious rooms was a highlight for a week of terrible weather. Wind blew so badly that going to the beach was out of the question. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Was not familiar with prepaid electricity and needed to contact the owner when it became apparent. The unit was also not serviced on a daily bases either (as other self catering places normally offer as part of The fee). But the kids enjoyed the explora and watched TV very often. Closely located to gonubie beach and "Heavenly pancakes restaurant"."

"Great location and layout. Unfortunately poorly maintained. Freezer door broken, window and door handles missing/broken. Washing machine broken, leakinh toilet, cockcroaches due to restaurant garbage below. Once issues are sorted oit this will be worth the daily rate charged."

"Comfortable andspacious self catering apartment. Beautiful view of the sea (even form you bed). Great location. Two things to keep in mind though is that there is no hairdryer and no complementary tea, coffee and sugar. Other than that it was a very nice experience."

"Great view, so close to the beach and the pancake place who also run the apartment.  Huge rooms, just a pity about the light in the second bedroom not being fixed, and we are sure the stove top wasn't working, couldn't get it to work - rest of the utensil was working fine.  Thought I saw two locked garages were advertised, not quite, gate did not have a lock. Very quick to respond to any queries and very friendly.<br />"
