The little beachside village of Gonubie lies at the beautiful estuary of the Gonubie River, just 8 km outside of East London. It is perfectly situated as a stopover en route to Cape Town, or as a base from which to explore the neighbouring towns of Cathcart, Stutterheim and King Williams Town.
