Situated on the banks of the Sundays River in a quiet part of this historical town, Aan-die-Oewer Guesthouse, self-catering options with all the essentials. The three family units and five single units all have private entrances, en-suite bathrooms, DSTV sports and movie channels, air-conditioning, braai facilities and secure parking.
The pool and lapa areas are ideal for a cold, refreshing drink on a hot summers day and can also be utilised as a unique conference facility for smaller groups of up to twenty people. Visitors at Aan-die-Oewer can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and game reserve or enjoy the comforting shade of the old oak tree overlooking a large play area for the kids.
Graaff-Reinet and surrounds offer various leisure and sports activities, as well as a number of restaurants. Or at night it might be enough to just experience the peace and quiet of staring at the endless, star-studded Karoo sky

31 October 2020"Professional staff and a delicious breakfast the next morning made the stay at Aan die oewer B&B "Vlakvark room" more welcoming but dirty bedding, no dustbin in the kitchen and a front door that was really though to open from the inside on some occasions left me with a bitter reminder of Aan die oewer B&B."

21 December 2015"Can't believe its a 3 star. No amble parking due to the fact that three caravans with vehicles and trailor with mountain bikes had to squeeze in parking area as well as our vehicle. We didn't had privacy as they parked so close to our unit that we couln't even sit outside. Inside there was skirting missing near bathroom door and kettle was very dirty inside. We really expected more for the amount that we paid."

09 February 2014"Great place for a stop over on your way to the coast, rooms a little small (went down as couple) but all with aircon, good shower and comfortable beds. Pool area is a winner, as are the owners. Good people, recommended."
