  "We just needed a stop-over en route to Knysna after a long 8 hour drive. Imelda was warm, welcoming and extremely knowledgable (and passionate) about the town. Our room was lovely and welcoming with the softest, most comfortable bed I've slept in in a while! Good shower, lovely breakfast, and the woman training to take over from Imelda was professional, friendly and quick to learn. Would recommend."

  "All fine except shower room. Central hand basin tap assembly HAS to be tightened and both it's tap washers replaced. Having a bucket in the shower doesn't help if the basin taps stays dripping. Also shower floor dangerously slippery . Maybe a non slip,mat might help. Best regards, John."

  "If you are looking for 5 star then it's not for you BUT if you are looking for genuine South African hospitality then I would absolutely recommend this B and B to anyone. It felt like we were staying with family. Tea and delicious cake on arrival. Imelda was so helpful and knowledgeable about what we could do there. The room was lovely and clean. Nice outside setting and garden. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night."

  "<p>I really think this is a really nice Guest House to overnight or stay for a couple of day if exploring Middleburg and its surrounds. The reason being that it is a home away from home in the sense that the owners Beau and Imelda, seriously go out of their way to make you feel completely at ease and relaxed and totally looked after. even while we were travelling to the guest house, Imelda would text us to ensure we were still ok as the light was fading and warned us of the dangers of Kudu at night on that stretch of road. when we arrived we were asked if they could arrange diner reservations in town. We were then treated to tea and fresh chocolate cake with Imelda. The room was very clean and comfortable and had all we needed to thoroughly enjoy our night. breakfast was hearty and everything was just warm and special in their home. So if you really want wholesome Karoo kindness and not 'break the bank' comfortplus lovely hosts... then there is only one choice... Beau &amp; I guesthouse !</p><p></p>"

  "<p>We had a lovely stay at Beau &amp; I. Imelda was the perfect hostess. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. </p><p>Imelda wants to create a home from home ambience in her guest house, I believe she achieves this well.</p><p>Our only negative was that Safarinow had listed the establishment as self-catering which it is not. There are however sufficient restaurants and fast food outlets within walking distance.</p>"

Beds were comfy but we are not in favour of the open plan bathroom, and there was noise of traffic right through the night. Didnt get much sleep.   "We stayed at Beau and I for two nights during our South African trip in June 2011. We arrived one day earlier than expected, but Imelda and Beau didn't mind and were very hospitable and kind. The rooms were very comfortable and well equipped. The location was nearby restaurants, musea and shops. Beau and Imelda gave us great advice about what to do and where to eat. Imelda baked a delicious chocolate cake! If we ever return to Graaff-Reinet, we would definitely stay at Beau and I again!"
