Kleine Heimat

Comfortably furnished with an elegant simplicity, Kleine Heimat is a welcoming, small Victorian cottage located in the centre of Graaff-Reinet. Abie and Marichen have taken every consideration in providing for your comfort and privacy. This one-bedroom cottages offer a fully equipped kitchenette for those who enjoy self-catering, while fluffy towels and linens add to the sense of being in a home away from home. There are 2 units available and can accommodate 8 persons in total. Safe parking for both units are at the back of unit 1.Many of the restaurants and places of interest are within comfortable walking distance of the cottage, and having the use of a lock-up garage makes it so much easier to leave your car and wander through our historical town.

    "Our plans were to dine in the city center and shop so this place was great as it was two walking blocks from a great restaurant (Polka). This is a cute town with great artisan shops. Morning coffee on the porch saying hello to people strolling or cycling by on the sidewalk was pleasant. If you want to stay in town and enjoy a late night without driving far in the dark this is the place."

    "Very basic. Mattresses on single beds and pillows are extremely uncomfortable. It has secure parking in a lock up garage with interleading door into the unit. Needs airconditioning!"

    "Arrived late but met by Abie with curteous consideration. A very clean and neatestablishment absolutely ideal for our overnight stay. All communication with Abie and Marchant was cordial and the atmosphere of the little cottage lovely.We took extra blankets and a heater as we were expecting very cold weather during our holiday and were glad of them. All else was more than adequately supplied.This is an ideal base for Graaff Reinet and the scenic route to KnysnaThe Theaker Family"
