  "We recently stayed at Profcon for the second year in a row on our way down to J-Bay. We had a lovely overnight stay, friendly hosts. All rooms were very clean and equipped with coffee stations, dstv, fans and heaters. They are also pet friendly and very well priced. Would Recommend to everyone. They are also just up the street from the most wonderful restaurant named Polka which I would also recommend."

  "The reception was excellent, thank you. The facilities need a bit of attention, which if attended to, would then be great for children. The camping area also needs some TLC. The cottages are walking distance from most shops, museums and restaurants, which is fantastic as safe parking is provided."

  "It was awesome. Leanne was so kind to give us a choice, as my son is in a wheelchair. The pictures on the internet, does not do justice, so go and visit Profcon. If you have small kids, this is the place to keep them busy and very happy."

When i checked in I was informed that they thought we'd be more comfortable in a bigger unit so we were upgraded with no extra charge. This was really appreciated. Will definitely recommend Profcon cottages to anyone requiring accommodation in Graaff Reiner."

  "I made a booking for two visiting German friends that stayed over on the 24th and 25th of December. Whilst the booking was done I asked for a booking to be made for Christmas Eve dinner a restaurant for my guests. This was followed up with two personal calls to the venue and a promise that it was done. On arrival said booking was not done and to my great embarrassment they went from one place to the other only to be squeezed in at a very lousy place since all the good venues were fully booked... Furthermore, notwithstanding a specific mention in an e-mail to me that breakfast could be had there, they were told that Profcon did not give breakfasts to people staying less than three days! This was such a disappointment contrary to the previous stay there which we thoroughly enjoyed! No, Profcon, in your chase after money you have lost your personal touch. I have now booked my other overseas visitors elsewhere."

  "This establishment is ideally situated, but our cottage was quite run down - hole in shower floor, patched lamp cables, old furniture and badly stained bed linen! Although they claim to have free wifi, this is only available within 5m of the office. However, the staff are very pleasant and obliging."

  "The suite we stayed in is conveniently situated and looks good from the outside. However, we were disappointed that not much thought has been given to the safety of visitors; e.g. extension cables lie around and wait for accidents and the shower floor is dangerous as it is shaped like a steep funnel. The lighting in the bedroom should be improved and a proper mirror provided for the lady visitor."

  "Stayed in the Butterfly room - a three-bedroom apartment unit - and it was very nice for its price. There were eight of us (4 adults and 4 children age 2 to 9) and there wasn't any problem at all. It is also a very child-friendly place. The bathrooms were new. I would only suggest they put heaters in the room as it was starting to get cold. We would not mind staying there again for another night."

  "Thank you for a lovely stay. Although we only stayed one night, as we were travelling through Graaff-Reinet, it was so lovely we could have stayed longer - if we had the time. The cottage we stayed in was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was very good. The grounds were lovely and well maintained and the staff friendly. There is nothing I can suggest to improve. I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose."

  "The initial contact was not that friendly as the lady in the office made it quite clear that booking us in is not her job. She did however phone someone to assist us. We were upgraded to the Sunflower Unit and great was our surprise to find a home-away-from-home. We had all the amenities we could expect to find at home, and in comfort, to keep up to date with our work. We will most definitely be making use of Profcon again for work and pleasure as it turned out to be a friendly and safe place to visit."

  "We stayed at Profcon lodge only 1 night on our way to Garden Route - we were very pleased with the cleanliness, aircon and how convenient it is located in the very center of the town. Additionally we received very good info on what to see around and were very happy to spend few extra hours in the area - for ex. visiting super interesting museums (one of the oldest towns in RSA plus lots of geological stuff from pre-dinosaur era) which are all in a walking distance from Profcon. Highly recommended!"
