At Makana Resort and Conference Centre, we take pride in making your visit to Grahamstown a memorable one. The Resort is set at the foot of the 1820 Settlers Monument and is accessible from all major national roads. All units have separate entrances, air-conditioning and DStv, with all towels, bedding and toiletries supplied. Units also have their own barbecue areas and the resort has two swimming pools and a children's play area, guaranteeing a relaxing and fun getaway for the entire family.

"For the second year we stayed at Makana Resort to enable us to attend the Grandparents Day at Kingswood. We were allocated Chalet 7 which was much larger than the accommodation used last year. Very comfortable, clean and with oceans of hot water. We awoke ready to face a host of lively little people."
